COVID-19 Header
  1. In line with the Singapore Ministry of Health (MOH) new changes, the COVID-19 Updates page will be adjusted to remove and change a few sections where the MOH no longer provides information.
Hospitalised Cases Section as of Jan 09

Breakdown of Hospitalised cases as of 09 Jan 2021

  1. Firstly, the breakdown of ICU cases into close monitoring and critically ill categories is no longer available. It will affect the Hospitalised and Local Cases in The Past 28 Days in Singapore sections. The affected segments will now only include the ICU cases reported by MOH.
Tracking COVID-19 Omicron Variant in Singapore Section
  1. Secondly, under the Tracking COVID-19 Omicron Variant in Singapore section, the unofficial count of confirmed Omicron cases will be removed.

  2. Thirdly, the ratio of community cases (R Rate) calculation is no longer based on the ratio of community cases for the past week over the week before. It is now calculated based on the ratio of local cases for the past week over the week before.

  3. Lastly, as MOH no longer provides the breakdown of local cases on their main page, the breakdown of local cases into community and dormitory cases may sometimes remain a dash in the COVID-19 Updates page.
