Later Updates On COVID-19
Jun | 11 Sep 2021, 11.45PM SGT
- As noticed from the past few days, the updates on COVID-19 have been very late. It was due to the Ministry of Health (MOH) releasing the data near midnight or even later. With this hassle expecting to continue for the rest of the months, there will be some changes made to cease or continue the updates on the COVID-19.
Changes to COVID-19 Updates on Singapore
- For COVID-19 in Singapore, the data will still be updated until the MOH stops providing data anymore. Additionally, there might be frequent major changes made silently to align with the data provided.
Phasing Out COVID-19 Updates on Malaysia
-
For COVID-19 in Malaysia, some of the data will be slowly removed from the page starting from late October. However, the decision may be reverted later if the updates provided by Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) is no longer at 2359 hours.
-
On the other hand, KKM has recently launched a new website COVIDNOW covidnow.moh.gov.my with comprehensive information on the COVID-19 in Malaysia. With this new site launched, I do not think there is a need for COVID-19 Updates on Malaysia on the page anymore.

In summary, the changes here are still not finalised. There will be further changes announced in due course.
