New Authenticator App MFA Option & Connected Applications

Published on 13 February 2026

Introducing new features to give you more control over your JZWSite account security and access!

Authenticator App MFA

In addition to the existing email-based one-time password (OTP) option introduced earlier last year, you can now use an authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator) to secure your account with time-based one-time passwords (TOTP).

How to enable:

  1. Log in to your JZWSite account.
  2. Go to your account settings.
  3. Under "TOTP", enable and follow the setup instructions to scan the QR code with your authenticator app.

Important: When you enable authenticator app MFA, you will be given a set of backup codes. Store these securely. If you lose access to your authenticator device and your backup codes, JZWSite will not be able to recover your account.

Connected Applications

When you log in to an external application or service that uses JZWSite for authentication, you will now see an authorisation screen that shows you exactly what the application is requesting access to before you grant permission.

This includes:

  • The name of the application requesting access.
  • The specific permissions (scopes) the application is requesting, such as viewing your profile information, email address, or roles.
  • The option to Allow or Deny the request.

You are always in control. You can review and revoke any connected applications at any time through your account settings.
